Peanut Butter Macaroons Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c creamy peanut butter .
  • 2 egg whites .
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 dash salt .
  • 1 1/3 c flaked coconut .
  • 2/3 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Step #2 In saucepan, melt peanut butter over very low heat & cool slightly.
  • Step #3 Beat egg whites, vanilla, & salt till soft peaks form.
  • Step #4 Gradually add sugar, beating to stiff peaks.
  • Step #5 Fold in coconut & melted peanut butter.
  • Step #6 Drop by rounded tspfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Step #7 Bake in 325° oven for 20 mins.
  • Step #8 Let stand 1 min, then remove to wire rack to cool.
