Frozen Chocolate Torte Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c caster sugar .
  • 1 egg .
  • 150 ml water .
  • 300F g milk chocolate .
  • 600 ml cream .
  • 3 egg yolks .
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Blend chocolate in food processor/blender until fine.
  • Step #2 Heat sugar & water over med-heat/flame until sugar melts.
  • Step #3 Increase heat & boil for 2 mins.
  • Step #4 Pour hot syrup into food processor/blender with motor running.
  • Step #5 Add egg yolks, whole egg & cream.
  • Step #6 Process together until smooth.
  • Step #7 Grease 22cm cake tin & line with plastic wrap leaving plastic over edge to help remove torte when frozen.
  • Step #8 Pour mixture into tin & feeze for at least 4 hrs.
  • Step #9 Remove from freezer for 20 mins before serving.
  • Step #10 Cut into wedges & serve this with berries.
