Jumbo Multigrain Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 c rolled oats .
  • 1/2 c toasted wheat germ .
  • 1 1/2 c unbleached all purpose flour .
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon .
  • 1/4 c honey .
  • 2 c M&M's, candy .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/3 c cooking oil .
  • 1 large egg .
  • 2/3 c butter, softened .
  • 3/4 c granulated sugar .
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar .
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 350°.
  • Step #2 In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds.
  • Step #3 Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, & cinnamon.
  • Step #4 Beat until mixd.
  • Step #5 Beat in eggs, oil, honey & vanilla until mixd.
  • Step #6 Blend in flour & wheat germ.
  • Step #7 Stir in rolled oats & candies with a wooden spoon.
  • Step #8 Place 1/4 c mounds of dough about 4" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet, lightly flatten each dough mound.
  • Step #9 Bake in the preheated oven about 12 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #10 Cool 2 mins on sheet, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  • Step #11 TO STORE.
  • Step #12 Place cookies in layers seperated by waxed paper in an airtight container.
  • Step #13 Cover up, store at about room temp for up to 3 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
