Simple Teriyaki Steak Dinner Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps water .
  • 1 medium bell pepper, coarsely sliced (any color) .
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine .
  • 1 1/2 c sliced fresh mushrooms (about 5 oz.) .
  • 1/4 c teriyaki baste & glaze (about 12 oz. bottle) .
  • 1/4 tsp fresh coarse ground black pepper .
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt .
  • 4 (6 oz) boneless strip steaks, about 3/4 thick

Directions
  • Step #1 In a 12” nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Cook bell pepper in butter 2 mins, stirring frequently.
  • Step #3 Stir in mushrooms.
  • Step #4 Cook 2-3 mins, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender.
  • Step #5 Remove vegetable mixture from skillet; cover to keep warm.
  • Step #6 Sprinkle top beef steaks with garlic salt & pepper.
  • Step #7 In same skillet, turning once or twice, cook steaks over med-heat/flame 6-8 mins, until desired doneness.
  • Step #8 Return vegetables to skillet.
  • Step #9 Stir teriyaki glaze & water into vegetables & spoon over steaks.
  • Step #10 Cook about 1 min, stirring vegetables every once in awhile, until thoroughly heated.
