Ham, Corn, & Potato Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) can cream-style corn .
  • 1 small onion, sliced .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 10 3/4 oz cream of mushroom soup .
  • salt & pepper (season to own taste) .
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper .
  • 1 c ham, sliced (more if you like) .
  • 5-6 medium potatoes, sliced & cooked .
  • 1 1/2 c milk (I usually use 2 c.)

Directions
  • Step #1 saute onions in the butter, potatoes, add ham, soup, milk, salt & pepper.
  • Step #2 simmer on medium to low heat for 20 mins.
  • Step #3 (if too thick, add a little more milk).
  • Step #4 Add cream corn & cayanne pepper.
  • Step #5 simmer on low for 20.
  • Step #6 You want to stir every few mins or so throughout the process.
  • Step #7 I serve w/ crusty bread.
