Gluten-free Buttermilk Drop Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c cornstarch .
  • 1/4 c potato starch .
  • 1/2 c garbanzo beans or garbanzo-fava bean flour .
  • 1/4 tsp xanthan gum .
  • 4 tbsps dry buttermilk (Saco) .
  • 1/3 c salad oil .
  • 2 eggs or 1/2 c liquid egg substitute .
  • 8 tsps aluminum-free baking powder .
  • 1/4 c water, if needed for thinner batter

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • Step #2 Add liquid ingredients & mix well.
  • Step #3 Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step #4 Grease a cookie sheet, & drop batter by spoonful, to make 10-12 biscuits.
  • Step #5 Bake 15-20 mins.
