Ingredients
  • 2 tsps dried savory
  • 1 (2 to 3 lb) whole chicken, cut into pieces
  • salt to taste
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 potatoes, cubed
  • 5 carrots, sliced
  • 1 tbsp butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter in cooking pot, brown chicken with sliced onions.
  • Step #2 Add water to cover.
  • Step #3 Simmer for 30 mins.
  • Step #4 Add carrots & potatoes.
  • Step #5 Simmer some more until vegetables are cooked.
  • Step #6 Salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #7 .
