Pork Tenderloin With Honey Soy And
Ingredients
1/2 c lemon juice .
1/4 c low sodium soy sauce .
1 1/4 c water .
4 garlic cloves, minced .
2 (1 lb) pork tenderloins .
1/4 c sliced onions .
1/2 c bourbon .
3 tbsps all-purpose flour .
cooking spray .
1/2 tsp salt .
1/2 c honey .
1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper .
1 tbsp minced peeled fresh ginger (or 1/4 tsp ground ginger)
Directions
Step #1 Trim fat from pork.
Step #2 Combine onion & next 7 ingredients (through the garlic cloves)and place this In a large-ish zip-lock plastic bag.
Step #3 Add pork & seal.
Step #4 Marinate in refrigerator for 1 hr.
Step #5 Remove pork from bag, reserving marinade.
Step #6 Salt & pepper pork.
Step #7 (We used a generour portion of fresh ground pepper).
Step #8 Prepare grill to medium heat.
Step #9 Place pork on a greased grill & reduce heat to low.
Step #10 Cover up & cook for about 20 mins for a nice pink color inside.
Step #11 (NOTE: I have a Weber grill & it gets pretty hot on low so use your own judgment.
Step #12 20 mins was perfect for us).
Step #13 Turn every 5 mins & bast with 1/2 c marinade.
Step #14 Remove to a 200 degree preheated oven to keep warm.
Step #15 (Let it sit for about 10 mins while you make the sauce).
Step #16 Sauce:.
Step #17 The onions will be a little crip, so it that does not suit you, remove them with a slotted spoon before preparing the sauce.
Step #18 Place flour in a small saucepan.
Step #19 Gradually add in the remaining marinade & water, stirring with a whisk until mixed.
Step #20 Bring to a boil over med-heat/flame & cook for 3-5 mins or until thickened, stirring constantly.
Step #21 Spoon gravy over pork & serve.
