Crescent Beef Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c sliced green pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) package put in the fridged crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 c mashed potatoes
  • 1 c tomato puree
  • 1/4 c sliced onion
  • 1 c crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 c sliced zucchini
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsps olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet, cook beef over med-heat/flame until no longer pink; drain & set aside.
  • Step #2 In the same skillet, saute the zucchini, onion & green pepper in oil until crisp-tender.
  • Step #3 Stir in the beef, oregano, tomato puree, salt & pepper; heat through.
  • Step #4 Spread mashed potatoes in an 11-in.
  • Step #5 x 7-in.
  • Step #6 x 2-in.
  • Step #7 baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step #8 Top with beef mixture; sprinkle with feta cheese.
  • Step #9 Unroll crescent dough.
  • Step #10 Separate into four rectangles; arrange three rectangles over the casserole.
  • Step #11 Bake at 375 degrees F for 12-15 mins or until top is browned.
  • Step #12 Roll remaining dough into two crescent rolls; bake for another use.
