Pork Kavarma Kebap Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c red wine .
  • 1 small chili pepper .
  • 1 tsp paprika .
  • 4-5 leeks, finely sliced .
  • 1 onion .
  • 2 lbs pork, good quality .
  • 1/2 c lard or oil .
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste .
  • 1 tsp black pepper .
  • parsley

Directions
  • Step #1 Chop the meat & brown it in the oil, remove this from pan.
  • Step #2 In the same oil, fry the finely cut leeks.
  • Step #3 Add salt, the tomato paste, paprika & pepper.
  • Step #4 Pour in 1/2 a c of water, add the wine & the meat.
  • Step #5 Let it stew on low heat until the juice has thickened.
  • Step #6 Serve sprinkled with sliced onions, parsley & a small hot pepper.
  • Step #7 You can also serve it with boiled potatoes or rice.
