Savory Chinese Beef (crock Pot) Recipe

Step #1 Thinly slice the sirloin.
Step #2 Wash all the fresh vegetables.
Step #3 Finely chop the onions (or leek).
Step #4 Place the sirloin in the slow cooker (aka crockpot), 3-6 quarts size pot.
Step #5 Pour broth, sauce, ginger & onion over the beef.
Step #6 Cover up & cook on low, 6-7 hrs.
Step #7 Uncover & turn to high.
Step #8 Mix cornstarch & water in a small measuring c.
Step #9 Stir this mixture with the hot sauce into the cooker.
Step #10 Leaving lid slightly ajar, cook on high for 15 mins until thickened, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #11 During last 5 mins of thickening add sprouts, pea pods, water chestnuts & shoots.
Step #12 Cook 5-10 mins until hot.
Step #13 Serve in individual bowls over Chinese noodles.
