1 (1 lb) package angel hair pasta, broken into thirds (cappelini) or thin spaghetti, broken into thirds (vermacelli) .
3 tbsps sesame seeds, toasted .
1/2 tsp ground ginger
Directions
Step #1 Cook pasta according to package directions.
Step #2 Drain pasta, rinsing with cold water; set aside.
Step #3 In large skillet, saute chicken & garlic in butter until chicken juices run clear; sprinkle with seasoned salt.
Step #4 Remove chicken with a slotted spoon; set aside.
Step #5 In same skillet, saute water chestnuts for 2-3 mins.
Step #6 Meanwhile, drain oranges, reserving 1/2 c juice.
Step #7 In a large serving bowl, chicken, mushrooms, pasta, mix oranges, peas, water chestnuts, carrots & onions.
Step #8 In a quart-sized jar or similar container with tight-fitting lid, sugar, vinegar, mix the oil, garlic, soy sauce, honey, ginger & reserved mandarin orange juice; shake well.
