- 1/2 c nonfat milk .
- 6 garlic cloves .
- 4 scallions, thinly sliced .
- 2 lbs potatoes
Directions
- Step #1 Peel & cut potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
- Step #2 Peel & quarter garlic cloves.
- Step #3 In a large saucepan, bring potatoes, garlic & salted water to a boil.
- Step #4 Cook for 20 mins or until tender.
- Step #5 Drain.
- Step #6 In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring milk & butter to a boil.
- Step #7 Mash potatoes & garlic until smooth.
- Step #8 Stir in milk mixture & scallions.
- Step #9 Spice up potatoes with salt & pepper to taste if desired.
