Caramel Chocolate Bonbons Recipe

Ingredients
  • 250 g chocolate-covered caramel candies .
  • 1 1/2 sheets puff pastry .
  • icing sugar, to serve

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Step #2 Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Step #3 Break chocolate into 9 rows of 4 blocks.
  • Step #4 Wrap chocolate in foil wrap & freeze for 1 hr.
  • Step #5 Cut whole pastry sheet in half.
  • Step #6 Then cut all halves into three to form 9 rectangles.
  • Step #7 Place a rectangle on a board.
  • Step #8 Brush edges with water.
  • Step #9 Place 1 row of chocolate across long edge of pastry & roll up.
  • Step #10 Press edges together.
  • Step #11 Place seam side down on baking tray.
  • Step #12 Repeat for all.
  • Step #13 Bake for 18 mins in the oven.
  • Step #14 Stand for 10 mins before serving.
  • Step #15 Dust with icing sugar to serve.
