Tuna Pita Pockets Recipe

Ingredients
  • 75 ml mayonnaise .
  • 184 g tuna in water, drained .
  • 15 ml lemon juice .
  • 200 ml alfalfa sprouts or lettuce, shredded .
  • 50 ml carrots, shedded .
  • 125 ml apples, sliced .
  • 2 pita bread, cut in half

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small bowl mix tuna, apple, mayo, carrot & lemon juice.
  • Step #2 Fill each pita half with alfalfa sprouts or lettuce & 1/4 of the tuna mixture.
