Vietnamese Grilled Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/3 c sugar .
  • 1/3 c green onions, sliced .
  • 2 pork tenderloins .
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce .
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine the sugar, lime juice, green onions, garlic, fish sauce & salt In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Add the tenderloins, making sure they are coated with the marinade.
  • Step #3 Let sit in the fridge for as short as 4 hrs, as long as 24 hrs, turning when you can.
  • Step #4 Heat grill or broiler in your oven.
  • Step #5 But the outdoor grill is best.
  • Step #6 My brother's trick to grill these is to put them on the grill, on medium heat, & cover for 7 mins, not disturbing them.
  • Step #7 Then turn over for 6 mins.
  • Step #8 And then turn off the grill & let rest for 5.
  • Step #9 With my propane grill, I do them for 8,7,6.
  • Step #10 You want a bit of pink showing in the middle but almost all white.
  • Step #11 I love to eat these with a thai sweet & hot sauce, kids love them with plum sauce, & some just like them as is.
