Step #1 Prepare your chalk molds by covering one end of each tissue tube with duct tape or masking tape.
Step #2 set aside.
Step #3 pour the warm water into your mixing container -- then sprinkle the plaster of paris powder into the water a bit at a time until it no longer dissolves.
Step #4 (about 1 1/2 c) -- stir thoroughly.
Step #5 until the mixture is as thick as pudding.
Step #6 add tempera paint to the plaster mixture & stir until mixed.
Step #7 pour the colored plaster into the tissue tubes.
Step #8 carefully tap the side of each tube to get rid of air bubbles.
Step #9 let dry for one or two days.
Step #10 peel off the mold & chalk up a masterpiece.
