Low-carb Crock Pot "gumbo" Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper .
  • 1 tbsp Tony Chachere's Spice uping (optional) .
  • 1 medium sliced onion .
  • 1 sliced yellow bell pepper .
  • 1 sliced green bell pepper .
  • 2 tsps Tabasco sauce .
  • 3 (10 oz) cans sliced tomatoes with green chilies .
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder .
  • 1/2 rotisserie roasted deli chicken (optional) .
  • 1 (8 oz) jar mushrooms .
  • 1 tsp pepper .
  • 1 large kielbasa .
  • 1/4 c heavy cream (can use 1/2 c milk instead) .
  • 2 c pre-cooked frozen shrimp .
  • 1 tsp tobasco habanero sauce (for extra heat) .
  • 1/4 c heavy cream (can use 1/2 c milk instead) .
  • 1 sliced red bell pepper .
  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 -Combine all ingredients in crock pot except for Chicken, Shrimp & Cream/Milk.
  • Step #2 -Cook on HIGH for 3 hrs.
  • Step #3 -Shred the white meat from the chicken by hand, & add to the crock pot.
  • Step #4 -Add Shrimp & Cream.
  • Step #5 -Cook on high for 1½ hrs after adding the last ingredients.
