• 1 c light cream .
• 2 tsps vanilla .
• 2 tsps ginger .
• 20 oz crushed pineapple, drained .
• 2 tbsps butter .
• 2 c granulated sugar .
• 1 c firmly packed brown sugar .
• 1 c coarsely sliced walnuts

• Step #1 mix sugar, cream & pineapple in a saucepan.
• Step #2 mix well.
• Step #3 cook, stirring every once in awhile to soft ball stage.
• Step #4 (236*).
• Step #5 remove this from heat, add butter, ginger & vanilla.
• Step #6 mix well.
• Step #7 cool to about room temp without stirring until luke warm.
• Step #8 beat until mixture looses it gloss.
• Step #9 add nuts & pour this into buttered 8" square pan.
• Step #10 score candy in serving pieces.
• Step #11 press walnut half into each piece.
• Step #12 cut when firm.
• Step #13 Makes 24 pieces.
