Apple Crumble Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie shells .
  • 3/4 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1/3 c white sugar .
  • 6 tbsps butter .
  • 5 c apples, peeled, cored & thinly sliced .
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon .
  • 1/2 c white sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  • Step #2 Arrange apple slices in unbaked pie shell.
  • Step #3 Mix 1/2 c sugar & cinnamon; sprinkle it over apples.
  • Step #4 Mix 1/3 c sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Step #5 Spoon mixture over apples.
  • Step #6 Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 mins, or until apples are soft & top is lightly browned.
  • Step #7 Be sure to check for browness of the crust - you may have to cover with tin foil wrap if it's getting too brown.
