Crunchy Apple And Banana Crumble Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps sliced pecans .
  • 6 arrowroot biscuits, crushed .
  • 3 tbsps mango nectar .
  • 3 tbsps rolled oats .
  • 1 tbsp honey .
  • 3 granny smith apples .
  • 2 bananas, peeled & sliced .
  • 1 tbsp coconut .
  • 1 pinch cinnamon .
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel, quarter & core apples, place this in saucepan with nectar & cinnamon.
  • Step #2 Cover up & cook.
  • Step #3 If you aren't using the nectar just add a little water to the saucepan with the cinnamon to soften the apples.
  • Step #4 Cook until apples are soft.
  • Step #5 In a bowl mix by hand oats, biscuits.
  • Step #6 coconut,nuts, marg/butter & honey.
  • Step #7 Spoon apple into a 9" greased pie dish.
  • Step #8 Top with sliced banana & sprinkle the crumble mix over the fruit.
  • Step #9 Cook in a pre-heated oven for 15mins or until the crumble is golden.
  • Step #10 Serve warm with scoops of vanilla icecream.
  • Step #11 NOTE: If Arrowroot biscuits are unavailable try any sort of sweet plain biscuit in it's place.
