Cocktail Meatballsii Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (1 oz) packages dry onion soup mix
  • 3 slices white bread
  • 2 tbsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tbsps half-and-half
  • 1 c packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 (28 oz) bottle ketchup

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Remove the crusts from the white bread & tear into small bread crumbs.
  • Step #3 In a medium size mixing bowl, mix beef, soup mix, white bread crumbs & half-and-half cream.
  • Step #4 Roll mixture into 1 inch balls & arrange in 9x13 inch baking dishes (as many baking dishes as it takes or bake the meatballs in shifts).
  • Step #5 Bake 10 to 15 mins; or until browned.
  • Step #6 In a slow cooker with the temperature set to high, mix together ketchup, brown sugar & Worcestershire sauce.
  • Step #7 Cook until the mixture comes to a boil, then reduce temperature to low until you are ready to serve the meatballs.
  • Step #8 Place the meatballs in the sauce & serve.
