Ingredients

1 egg, beaten .
1 3/4 c flour .
1/2 tsp salt .
1 tsp cinnamon .
1 c sliced nuts .
1 c white sugar .
1/4 tsp baking soda .
1/2 c margarine or butter .
1 tsp baking powder .
1/4 tsp cloves .
1 c raisins .
3/4 c applesauce (thick)

Directions

Step #1 Mix dry ingredients together.
Step #2 cream butter & sugar til light.
Step #3 Add egg.
Step #4 add FLour mixture alternatively with applesauce.
Step #5 Fold in raisins & nuts.
Step #6 Bake in greased loaf pan 350F 1 hr.
