Easy Beef-n-cheese Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells, flute edge .
3/4 c mayonnaise .
1/2 c finely sliced onions .
1/8 tsp pepper .
3/4-1 lb ground beef .
4 tsps cornstarch .
2 c shredded cheddar cheese .
1/2 tsp salt .
3/4 c milk .
1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained .
3 eggs

Directions

Step #1 Cook beef & onion til done.
Step #2 Drain grease.
Step #3 Stir in mushrooms & cheese.
Step #4 Pour hot mixture into unbaked pie shell.
Step #5 In bowl, mix rest of ingredients.
Step #6 Beat til smooth.
Step #7 Pour over beef mixture in pie shell.
Step #8 Flute edges.
Step #9 Bake in 350º oven for 35 mins til golden brown & puffy.
Step #10 Let stand 10 mins before serving.
Step #11 6-8 servings.
Step #12 Cooked, crumbled bacon is a nice addition to this, too.
