Ingredients
  • 3 c baking mix .
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten .
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • vegetable oil, for frying .
  • 1 c french vanilla liquid coffee creamer .
  • confectioners' sugar, for dusting

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large mixing bowl, eggs, mix baking mix, milk & coffee creamer.
  • Step #2 Whisk until smooth.
  • Step #3 Set aside.
  • Step #4 In a deep-fryer, heat oil to 375 degrees F.
  • Step #5 Cover up the bottom of a funnel with your finger.
  • Step #6 Ladle 1/2 c of batter into funnel.
  • Step #7 Holding funnel over oil, slowly release finger & move in a spiral motion, then cross over to create criss-cross pattern.
  • Step #8 Fry golden on both sides, about 2 to 3 mins per side.
  • Step #9 Drain on paper towels & dust with confectioners' sugar.
  • Step #10 Alternate method: Instead of using a funnel, try squeezing batter out of a plastic ketchup bottle.
  • Step #11 This can help you make the design more accurate & is also less messy.
