Ingredients
12 vanilla caramels .
1 tsp vanilla .
1 tbsp milk .
1/2 c walnuts, sliced .
2 eggs .
2/3 c all-purpose flour .
1/4 tsp salt .
1/2 c baking cocoa .
1 c sugar .
1/2 c butter, softened .
1/2 tsp baking powder
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 350.
Step #2 Grease 9x9x2 baking pan.
Step #3 Mix sugar, vanilla, butter, & eggs.
Step #4 In separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, & salt.
Step #5 Mix wet & dry ingredients until well-incorporated.
Step #6 Add walnuts.
Step #7 Spread evenly in pan.
Step #8 Bake 20 to 25 mins or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Step #9 While brownies are in oven, heat caramels & milk over low heat/flame (or in double boiler) & stir until melted & smooth.
Step #10 Drizzle caramel over warm brownies.
Step #11 Cool completely before cutting into 4 rows by 4 rows.
