Ingredients

1/2 c onions, sliced .
1/2 c potatoes, shredded .
1/8 tsp dried thyme .
1/4 tsp pepper .
1/2 lb ground beef .
1/2 lb ground pork .
1/8 tsp allspice .
3/4 tsp salt

Directions

Step #1 Mix all ingredients together by hand.
Step #2 Shape into 8 patties.
Step #3 Fry in a lightly oiled skillet on medium-low heat until well browned.
Step #4 About 10 minrs per side.
Step #5 Cook on medium low to ensure slow & thorough cooking all the way to the inside.
Step #6 Check the inside of one patty to ensure they are no longer pink inside.
Step #7 Serve hot.
