Reshmi Kebab Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1 tsp finely ground pepper .
  • 2 tbsps finely sliced fresh ginger .
  • 1 tbsp cumin, ground .
  • 4 tsps ground coriander .
  • 4 tsps oil .
  • 1/4 c small cashew pieces .
  • 2 lbs ground chicken or ground turkey .
  • 1 tsp red chili powder .
  • 1 tsp melted butter .
  • 5 skewers .
  • 1 tsp garam masala .
  • 4 tsps finely sliced onions

Directions
  • Step #1 If you are using wooden or bamboo skewers, soak them in water per package directions to prevent splintering or burning.
  • Step #2 Beat the eggs, chili powder, cumin, pepper & oil together.
  • Step #3 Mix in the ground meat & let sit for 10 min minimum.
  • Step #4 Mix together the cashews, onion, ginger, coriander & garam masala.
  • Step #5 Work this mixture into the meat mixture, & divide the meat into 10 pieces.
  • Step #6 With wet hands, wrap two portions of meat along each skewer, leaving 2 inches between portions.
  • Step #7 Roast the kebabs on a grill for about 6 min, in a oven set at 300F degrees for 8 min, or in a rotisserie until golden brown.
  • Step #8 When done, remove the skewers & baste with melted butter.
