Chicken And Red Wine Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 3 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 c red wine

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  • Step #2 Cook garlic in oil until tender.
  • Step #3 Place chicken in the skillet, & cook about 10 mins on each side, until no longer pink & juices run clear.
  • Step #4 Drain oil from skillet.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top chicken with paprika & 1 c brown sugar.
  • Step #6 Pour red wine around chicken.
  • Step #7 Cover, & let simmer about 15 to 20 mins; lightly baste chicken with wine sauce while cooking.
  • Step #8 Spice up to taste with salt & pepper.
