Banana Breeze Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c margarine, softened .
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 1/4 c sugar .
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened .
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk .
  • 2 tbsps lemon juice .
  • NO COOK FILLING .
  • NO BAKE CRUST .
  • 1 c cornflake crumbs .
  • 4 medium bananas, sliced .
  • 1/3 c lemon juice

Directions
  • Step #1 To prepare the pie crust:.
  • Step #2 Melt margarine, sugar & cinnamon in small saucepan.
  • Step #3 Place over low heat/flame, stirring constantly, until bubbles form around the edges of pan.
  • Step #4 remove this from heat.
  • Step #5 Add corn flake crumbs.
  • Step #6 mix well.
  • Step #7 Press mixture evenly in 9" pie pan to form crust.
  • Step #8 chill in the fridge.
  • Step #9 TO PREPARE FILLING:.
  • Step #10 Beat the cream cheese until light & fluffy.
  • Step #11 Add sweetened condensed milk; mix thoroughly.
  • Step #12 Add 1/3 c lemon juice & vanilla, stir till thickened.
  • Step #13 Slice 3 bananas, line crust with banana slices (dip bananas into 2 tbsp lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • Step #14 Cut fourth banana into thin slices.
  • Step #15 Dip in remaining lemon juice.
  • Step #16 Garnish top of pie with banana slices.
  • Step #17 Chill 2-4 hrs before serving.
