• 2 tsps bacon fat or butter or oil .
• 1/2 tsp salt .
• 3/4 c boiling water .
• 1 c white cornmeal

• Step #1 Mix meal & salt into a bowl.
• Step #2 Add boiling water.
• Step #3 Stir with spoon & mix well.
• Step #4 Will form a stiff batter or dough.
• Step #5 Drop rounded large spoonfuls (tblsp) into hot greased pan.
• Step #6 Flatten into flat 1/4 inch thick circles.
• Step #7 Cook until golden brownm on each side, turning once, about 2 mins per side.
• Step #8 Strain on paper towel.
