Sultana Bran Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 150 g low-sodium margarine .
  • 1 c white lily self-rising flour, sifted .
  • 2 c sultana natural bran .
  • 1/2 c brown sugar or raw sugar .
  • 1/2 c orange juice .
  • 1 orange, rind of, grated .
  • 1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda .
  • 1 c self raising flour, sifted

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt the margarine in a saucepan over low heat/flame or microwave.
  • Step #2 Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl until well mixd.
  • Step #3 Spoon mixture onto non-stick baking sheets & press down lightly with a fork.
  • Step #4 Bake at 180 deg.
  • Step #5 C for 10-15 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #6 Cool on baking sheets before transferring to wire cooling tray.
