Ingredients
  • 1 c heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease one 9x9 inch square pan.
  • Step #3 Beat eggs in a small bowl until very thick.
  • Step #4 Add the sugar & the vanilla, beating well.
  • Step #5 Combine the flour, baking powder, & salt.
  • Step #6 In three parts add the flour mixture alternately with the whipping cream to the egg mixture, beginning & ending with the flour mixture.
  • Step #7 Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
