Cocoa Kiss Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c confectioners' sugar for decoration
  • 1 2/3 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c sliced pecans
  • 1/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 c white sugar
  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 oz) bag milk chocolate candy kisses

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium bowl, cream together the butter & sugar.
  • Step #2 Stir in the vanilla.
  • Step #3 Combine the flour & cocoa, add to the flour mixture, mix until all of the flour is absorbed.
  • Step #4 Finally, stir in the the pecans.
  • Step #5 Cover & put in the fridge dough for at least 1 hr.
  • Step #6 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Step #7 Unwrap chocolate kisses.
  • Step #8 Mold about 1 tbsp of dough around each chocolate kiss.
  • Step #9 Place 1 1/2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step #10 Bake for 10 to 12 mins in the preheated oven, or until set.
  • Step #11 Cool on the baking sheet for 5 mins before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Step #12 Roll cooled cookies in confectioners' sugar.
