Step #1 Combine pineapple, apricots & sugar in saucepan.
Step #2 Cook untl thickened, stirring frequently.
Step #3 Cool.
Step #4 Cut shortening & butter into flour & salt in bowl.
Step #5 Combine yeast with sour cream & egg yolks in a bowl.
Step #6 , mix well.
Step #7 Add to crumb mixture & mix well.
Step #8 Chill for 3 hrs or overnight.
Step #9 Roll on sugared surface & cut into 3" squares.
Step #10 Spoon fruit filling into centers of squares, bring up edges to enclose filling & seal.
Step #11 Place on cookie sheet.
Step #12 Bake at 350° for 10-12 mins or until golden brown.
Step #13 Remove to wire racks & cool completely.
