Slow Cooker Berry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pinch salt .
  • 1 lb fresh blueberries, rinsed & picked over (about 3 1/2 c) .
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, rinsed & roughly sliced (about 3 1/2 c) .
  • 2 tbsps quick-cooking tapioca .
  • 1/2 c Splenda granular, artificial sweetener

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker (aka crockpot) crock; mix well.
  • Step #2 Cover up & cook on LOW for 3 hrs, stirring several times during cooking.
  • Step #3 Refrigerate any unused sauce.
