Instant At Home Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 2 oz cornstarch .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 3 oz Dutch-processed cocoa powder .
  • 4 c milk .
  • 1 1/2 oz non-fat powdered milk .
  • 6 oz confectioners' sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl or plastic container with a lid, cornstarch, sugar, instant non-fat dry milk, mix the cocoa, & salt.
  • Step #2 Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
  • Step #3 Place dry pudding mix (aproxamatly 2 1/2 c) into a medium saucepan.
  • Step #4 Add milk & whisk to mix.
  • Step #5 Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil, continuously whisking carefully.
  • Step #6 Reduce heat to low & cook for 4 mins while continuing to whisk.
  • Step #7 Remove from heat & stir in the vanilla.
  • Step #8 Pour the mixture through a sieve & into individual dishes or a 3-quart serving dish.
  • Step #9 Cover up the surface of the pudding with plastic wrap.
  • Step #10 Place in the refrigerator to chill completely before serving, approximately 4 hrs.
