Chocolate Candy Bar Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 4 (1.5 oz) bars milk chocolate candy, coarsely sliced
  •  
  • 1 (18.25 oz) package devil's food cake mix
  • 3/4 c vegetable oil
  • 1 (3.5 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1 c sliced pecans
  • 1 c confectioners' sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease & flour 3 (8 inch) pans.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, eggs, milk, mix cake mix, oil & instant vanilla pudding mix.
  • Step #4 Beat on lowish speed until mixed.
  • Step #5 Scrape bowl, & beat 4 mins on medium speed.
  • Step #6 Pour batter into prepared pans.
  • Step #7 Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Step #8 Allow to cool.
  • Step #9 To make the frosting: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with the white sugar & confectioners' sugar until smooth.
  • Step #10 Fold in the whipped topping, pecans & sliced chocolate.
  • Step #11 Spread between layers & on top & sides of cake.
