Step #1 Measure strawberries & place this in large saucepan.
Step #2 (There should be about 1 3/4 c.
Step #3 ) Peel & pit about 2 1/2 lbs fully ripe peaches.
Step #4 Crush thoroughly.
Step #5 Add enough peaches (about 2 1/4 c) to strawberries to make 4 c fruit.
Step #6 Measure sugar & set aside.
Step #7 Place saucepan holding fruit over high heat.
Step #8 Add fruit pectin & stir until mixture comes to a hard boil.
Step #9 At once stir in the sugar.
Step #10 Bring to a full rolling boil & boil hard, one min, stirring constantly.
Step #11 Remove from heat, skim & ladle quickly into hot sterilized glasses.
Step #12 Process for 10 mins in hot water bath.
Step #13 Makes 8 (6 oz.
Step #14 ) glasses.
