Tibetan Greens With Tofu (tse Tofu) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 1 bunch swiss chard .
  • 1 tbsp oil .
  • 4 (12 oz) blocks firm tofu, cut into 1-inch cubes .
  • 1/4 c green peas .
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced .
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced .
  • 2 green onions, sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp paprika .
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps soy sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Wash the Swiss chard & tear it into pieces, removing the stems.
  • Step #2 Heat a little oil in a frying pan, along with the paprika, & stir-fry the green onions, ginger, & 2 cloves of garlic.
  • Step #3 Stir in the soy sauce, tofu, & peas.
  • Step #4 In a separate frying pan, heat a tbsp of oil until it's very hot.
  • Step #5 Stir in the black pepper.
  • Step #6 Add the Swiss chard, still slightly wet, & toss to coat with the oil & pepper.
  • Step #7 Cover up the pan & let it steam for 30 seconds.
  • Step #8 Spread the greens on a serving platter & pour the tofu mixture on top.
