Baked Hamburger Patties With Pasta Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

3 c favorite pasta sauce (can use more, my pasta sauce Kittencal's Pasta Sauce With Parmesan Meatballs works well for this) .
1/3 c grated parmesan cheese .
3 lbs ground beef .
flour, for dipping .
8-10 hamburger buns .
1 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese

Directions

Step #1 Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Step #2 Flavor the ground beef with your favorite ingredients.
Step #3 Shape into about 8 patties.
Step #4 Coat the hamberger patties with flour.
Step #5 In a large skillet, brown the patties on both sides in butter, then arrange in the baking dish.
Step #6 Pour half of the pasta sauce over the patties, & spread the sauce with a spoon to cover the patties (do not worry if they are not completely covered with the sauce).
Step #7 Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese, then cheddar cheese.
Step #8 Top with remaining sauce.
Step #9 Bake in a 400F degree oven for about 25 mins, or until patties are no longer pink.
Step #10 Serve the patties & the sauce on buns & sprinkle more cheese on if desired.
