Meatballs Stroganoff Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • 1 garlic clove, minced .
  • 1/2 c red wine .
  • pepper .
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard .
  • 1 tbsp parsley .
  • 1 egg, beaten .
  • 1 c sour cream .
  • 2 tbsps catsup .
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef .
  • 1 c beef consomme .
  • 1 c mushrooms, sliced .
  • 1/4 c onions, sliced .
  • salt .
  • 1/3 c breadcrumbs .
  • 1/4 c white onions, sliced .
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes .
  • 1 dash nutmeg .
  • 1/3 c flour .
  • 1/4 tsp thyme .
  • 1/4 c parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 1/4 c butter

Directions
  • Step #1 In small bowl mix milk & breadcrumbs & let set for 10mins.
  • Step #2 In a large bowl mix breadcrumb mixture with beef, thyme, onion, parmsean, egg, parsley, salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Mix well.
  • Step #4 Form in to small balls (golf ball size) & place on greased baking sheet.
  • Step #5 Keep them spaced about 1 inch apart.
  • Step #6 Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30mins.
  • Step #7 Remove & let cool.
  • Step #8 In large skillet, melt butter.
  • Step #9 Add mushrooms, onion & garlic & saute unil veggies are soften.
  • Step #10 Add consomme & bring to a boil.
  • Step #11 Add meatballs to skillet & let simmer covered for about 10mins.
  • Step #12 In c mix wine & flour.
  • Step #13 Add mixture to skillet & heat until boiling,stirring constantly.
  • Step #14 Boil for 1 min.
  • Step #15 Stir in parsley, catsup, dijon, sour cream & nutmeg.
  • Step #16 Stir until well mixd.
  • Step #17 DO NOT LET BOIL.
  • Step #18 Simmer until heated through.
  • Step #19 Serve over egg noodles.
