Nana's Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe

Ingredients

2 large eggs .
1 (14 1/2 oz) can thank you brand cherry pie filling .
1 (18 oz) box dark chocolate cake mix .
dark chocolate frosting .
1 tsp pure vanilla extract .
1 tsp almond flavoring

Directions

Step #1 Mix cake mix, eggs & flavorings until well-mixed.
Step #2 (I use a hand mixer & mix for at least 2 mins.
Step #3 ).
Step #4 Fold in cherry pie filling (carefully).
Step #5 Spread batter into a 8" x 12" pan that has been greased & floured.
Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees until done.
Step #7 (40-50 mins, according to the cake mix package.
Step #8 ).
Step #9 Frost with dark chocolate frosting.
