Chicken And Cornbread Stuffing Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup .
  • 2 c frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, drained .
  • 3/4 c milk .
  • 2 c cubed cooked chicken .
  • paprika, if desired .
  • 1/2 tsp ground sage or poultry seasoning .
  • 1/8 tsp pepper .
  • 1 1/2 c cornbread stuffing mix .
  • 1 medium onion, finely sliced (1/2 c)

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 400.
  • Step #2 Spray a 3-quart casserole with Pam.
  • Step #3 In 3-quart saucepan, heat soup & milk to boiling over high heat, stirring frequently.
  • Step #4 Stir in mixed vegetables, onion, & sage.
  • Step #5 Heat to boiling, stirring frequently; remove this from heat.
  • Step #6 Stir in chicken & stuffing mix.
  • Step #7 Spoon into casserole.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top with pepper & paprika.
  • Step #9 Bake uncovered for about 15 mins or until hot in the center.
