Step #1 For the cake, preheat your trusty oven to 350 degrees; grease & lightly flour a 10 c bundt pan.
Step #2 Chop the dates in food processor/blender by pulsing several times; place this in a small bowl & cover with hot water; allow to stand while preparing remaining cake ingredients.
Step #3 In medium mixer bowl, salt, baking soda, baking powder, mix the flour, ground cloves & cinnamon; set aside.
Step #4 In large mixer bowl, tahini & while continuing to beat, beat the butter & granulated sugar until light & fluffy; beat in brown sugar, add eggs 1 at a time.
Step #5 Gradually beat in flour mixture, alternating with yogurt; beat for 2 mins on medium speed.
Step #6 Stir in 1/4 c of orange juice & 1 tbsp zest, drain the dates & stir in theto batter until evenly distributed; add sliced nuts & stir this to distribute.
Step #7 Turn into prepared pan & bake for 40 to 45 mins or until tester comes out clean when inserted off center; cool 10 mins & turn out of pan onto plate; allow too cool completely before glazing.
Step #8 For the glaze, stirring constantly, add the butter, cream & orange juice; cook over low heat/flame, in a small saucepan, chocolate, until the mixture thickens; remove this from heat.
Step #9 Stir in vanilla & slowly add confectioners’ sugar; beating until smooth & thickened.
Step #10 Stir in orange zest & pour evenly over cake, allowing glaze to run down sides, scrape up excess that drips into the center & round edges, pour over cake.
