5 Minute Frozen Yogurt With Fruit Variations Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) container plain low-fat yogurt .
  • 20 oz unsweetened frozen peaches or frozen strawberries or frozen blueberries .
  • 1 c confectioners' sugar .
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice .
  • 1/8 tsp almond extract

Directions
  • Step #1 Allow the frozen fruit to stand at about room temp for 10 mins.
  • Step #2 Place the knife blade in food processor/blender, add fruit & process until fruit resembles finely shaved ice, stopping to scrape down sides of container with rubber spatula.
  • Step #3 With the processor running, sugar, add yogurt, lemon juice & almond extract; process until mixture is smooth & creamy.
  • Step #4 May need to every once in awhile scrape down side of container.
