Roasted Green Beans Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper (or to taste, omit if using Mrs. Dash) .
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil (or just enough to lightly coat beans) .
  • 1 tsp kosher salt (or to taste, may substitute with Mrs. Dash if desired) .
  • 2 lbs green beans

Directions
  • Step #1 Pre-heat oven to 400F degrees Wash, dry well, & trim green beans.
  • Step #2 Put green beans on a jelly roll pan.
  • Step #3 Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top with salt & pepper to taste (I like them salty so I use about 1 1/2 tsps of salt & about 8-10 grinds of the pepper mill).
  • Step #5 *Mrs.
  • Step #6 Dash may be substituted for salt & pepper as desired.
  • Step #7 Use your hands to be sure all the beans are evenly coated & spread them out into 1 layer.
  • Step #8 Roast for 20-25 mins, turning after 15 mins, until beans are fairly brown in spots & somewhat shriveled.
  • Step #9 Serve hot or at about room temp.
