Creamy Chicken Rice Andeggie Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 2 tsps onion powder, divided
  • 2 tsps ground black pepper, divided
  • 3 tbsps dried minced onion, divided
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 5 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp salt, divided
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tsps garlic powder, divided
  • 2 (10.75 oz) packages chicken flavored rice mix (e.g. Rice A Roni)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to broil.
  • Step #2 Place chicken in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • Step #3 In a small bowl mix 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp salt, poultry seasoning, 1 tbsp dried minced onion & oregano.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top over chicken, coating both sides.
  • Step #5 Place chicken under broiler for 10 mins, or until browned & crispy.
  • Step #6 In a medium bowl mix rice mix, chicken soup & milk; mix well until lumps are gone.
  • Step #7 Stir in 1 tsp garlic, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp salt & 2 tbsps dried minced onion.
  • Step #8 Take chicken out of oven & remove chicken from pan.
  • Step #9 Spoon rice mixture into the pan & place chicken on top; cover.
  • Step #10 Reduce oven temperature to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • Step #11 Bake for 30 mins, or until rice & chicken are cooked through.
