Chicken-potato Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 c frozen mixed vegetables, thawed .
  • 3 chicken breast halves .
  • 1 c sliced onions .
  • 12 small red potatoes, unpeeled, cut into cubes .
  • 3 (14 oz) cans chicken broth

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces & saute until partially cooked; they shouldn't be cooked through.
  • Step #3 2.
  • Step #4 Add chicken, onion, potatoes, vegetables, & broth to slow cooker (aka crockpot).
  • Step #5 3.
  • Step #6 Cover up & cook on high 5 1/2 to 6 hrs or until potatoes are tender.
  • Step #7 (Check periodically to make sure it isn't cooked before 6 hrs).
  • Step #8 4.
  • Step #9 Add salt & pepper to taste.
