Step #1 In a large saucepan, cook sliced carrots in boiling water until tender.
Step #2 Drain & set aside.
Step #3 In the same saucepan, salt, cornstarch, mix pineapple juice, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, & allspice.
Step #4 Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, uncovered, & let simmer, for 5 mins.
Step #5 Remove from heat.
Step #6 Add the cooked, drained carrots & sliced pecans to hot sauce mixture; stir in the & heat through.
Step #7 Serve.
